Sept. 25: Kids' Story Time; Co-Existing With Wildlife

Tour the historic Reyes Adobe, take the kids to King Gillette Ranch for story time and learn about 'Leaping Lizards.'

Enjoy an hour of Story Time at the Santa Monica Mountains all summer long! It will take place at our new Visitor Center located at King Gillette Ranch (26800 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas) every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. For Ages 6 months to 9 years.

4. Kids Club at the Commons

Take the kids to the Commons at Calabasas (4799 Commons Way) at 6 p.m. for a weekly dose of fun, including music, dance, arts, crafts, entertainment and so much more! This week, it's Leaping Lizards.

5. “How to Coexist with Wildlife” Seminar

Amongst the issues to be discussed, Cindy Reyes, Executive Director of the California Wildlife Center, will provide tips on how to safely coexist with wildlife, including common misconceptions about behaviors, what to do (and not do) when you encounter wildlife, and how to minimize unwanted visits to your yard. The program takes place at 7 p.m. at the Westlake Village Council Chambers (31200 Oak Crest Dr., Westlake Village).
