3. Free Bully Proof Workshops

To celebrate its 20th anniversary in Agoura Hills, Agoura Karate will be holding a free Bully Proof Workshop for children from ages 5-12 (from 1-2 p.m.) and a free Self Defense Class for ages 13 and up (from 3-4:30 p.m.). For more information, call 818-707-0332.

5. Thousand Oaks Arts Festival

This ninth annual event features live performances, children's hands-on artistic and interactive art exhibits and art of all sorts. There will also be food available for purchase from food trucks. The festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event takes place at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks and the adjacent The Lakes shopping center. Admission is free.
