Sept. 10: Video Game Tournament; Ice Cream Social

2. Super Smash Brothers Tournament at the Library

The invites teens from 6th to 12th grade to a Super Smash Brothers Tournament from 1-4 p.m. You may bring your own controller. Please bring a canned food donation to contribute to the local food bank.

3. Indian Guide/Indian Princess/Trailblazer Registration and BBQ

Register for the 2011-2012 Indian Guide/Indian Princess/Trailblazer event at from 4-7 p.m. with a free barbecue and carnival with games and prizes, magicians, balloon artist, Glamour on Wheelz and more!

4. Youth Naturalist Program on Native American Culture & Ice Cream Social

As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Mountains Restoration Trust (MRT) is presenting a free family-oriented youth naturalist program on Native American culture followed by an ice cream social. The program includes a hike pointing out items used for games, food and medicine to show how tribes lived thousands of years without stores. There will also be tree planting at the Center as part of Step Forward Day. All participants will be treated to an ice cream social. Click here for more information.

5. End-of-Summer Picnic and Fall-Into-School Supply Drive

Bring the whole family to Bennett Park (Village Center Rd & Yorkfield Ct, Westlake Village) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for complimentary glitter tatooes, Shave It beverages, a bounce house and more! Bring a picnic basket and a donation of school supplies for LVUSD.
