Rhino & Xica, a Bonded Pair

Rhino is a 7-year-old male chihuahua mix, and Xica is a 6-year-old female chihuahua mix who found themselves at the shelter when they were brought in by their owner. They were both very frightened at first but had each other. The shelter is hoping they can be adopted together.

Both get along with other small dogs and are currently kenneled with another small dog. They are very sweet, engaging and love attention. They are energetic and spry for their age and, in fact, they look much younger than their years. They walk well on the leash but are also very happy sitting by your side or in your lap.

We don't know if they are housebroken, but just in case they are not, the volunteers would be happy to lend you a crate and give you some helpful tips, so they can learn quickly and be successful. All you have to do is ask one of the volunteers.
