Reyes Adobe Days Road and Transportation Information

The City of Agoura Hills offers detailed information about road closures, parking and shuttle transportation during Reyes Adobe Days weekend.

 

The 8th annual Reyes Adobe Days festival takes place Saturday, October 6-7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The following information on road closures, parking and shuttles comes from the City of Agoura Hills website.

There will be free continuous round-trips to and from the following locations:

  • Agoura Hills Recreation Center, 30610 Thousand Oaks Blvd.
  • Reyes Adobe Park, 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive
  • Mediterranea I Medical Complex, 30423 Canwood Street

Street Closures:

Reyes Adobe Road will be impacted throughout Reyes Adobe Days weekend. For full information regarding road closures, please refer to our resident notification letter HERE.

Parking:

There will be limited parallel parking on Reyes Adobe Road on Saturday from 12-5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional parking is available on adjacent residential streets.

Parade Parking is allowed on Thousand Oaks Blvd., southwest of Reyes Adobe and northeast of Reyes Adobe

RAD 10K Shuttle:

Shuttling for the RAD 10K Race will be available for registered participants. For specific shuttle information, please check www.rad10k.com

All members of our community regardless of their race, creed, or religion should be respected. Perhaps our community needs to introspect and see why this occurred and how further events can be prevented.

I think for the most part, people are mentally drained. Few take the time to sit back relaxRead More anymore. Even when we do have a minute to ourselves, we're constantly bombarded with emails, text messages and status updates. If we unplugged ourselves from our devices, we might find the serenity we all so desperately need. Turn your phone off, take a hike. Find a big tree next to a creek and sit under the shade. Enjoy nature. Listen to the sound of the water, the birds and the breeze as it moves through the brush. When you get back to nature, if only for a short time, you'll leave with a clear mind and feel revitalized. You're right---technology was supposed to make our lives more simple. Instead, it fuels the attention deficit disorder as our brain becomes a hashtag with a constant barrage of (often useless) news and updates. Although I'm young, I'd give anything to go back to the days where calling someone often led to a wild goose chase of finding an available payphone and spare change to make the call.
