Power Outage Affects 146 Customers

SoCal Edison restores power after equipment failure causes blackout.

Parts of the community were affected during an evening power outage caused by localized equipment failure, according to a spokesman for Southern California Edison.

The outage occurred at 5:30 p.m. Monday evening, said Paul Klein of SoCal Edison, and 146 customers were affected.

According to Klein, power was restored to 134 customers by 8:17 p.m.

"SCE restored power to the remaining 12 customers at 10:32 p.m.," he said.

The outage occurred in the area north of Oak Path Drive, south of Canwood Street and west of Meadow Vista Way.
