Photo Gallery: A Fall Beauty Pageant

Fall colors are out in full force in Agoura Hills, and Patch has captured them on camera.

Fall is Agoura Hills' most picturesque time of year. The hiking and horse trails are alive with Sweetgum, Sycamore and Aspen. Each morning, there is a new contender for most beautiful color. All along our highways and by-ways is the best free show of all. The colors of fall are both welcomed and welcoming.

As summer ends and autumn comes, the days get shorter and shorter. The trees begin to shut down and live off the food they stored during the summer. The green chlorophyll disappears from the leaves, revealing yellow, orange, and red hues.

With the foliage ablaze in Agoura Hills, it is the perfect time for picture taking. Enjoy our gallery. All photos were taken from our back yard.
