3. Mountains Restoration Trust 30th Anniversary Event Open House

The public is invited to walk the grounds (23075 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas) with a shady stream, tour a 100-year old homestead home, stroll around a native plant garden, pick up literature on MRT's programs, and bring a snack for the picnic area, beginning at 1 p.m.

4. Public Safety Weekend

Help kick off the Fall Harvest Festival at Underwood Family Farms. Learn about all things the fire and sheriff's departments do to keep you and your family safe in the event of a fire or other emergency. While you are there, be sure to check out everything else the festival has to offer, including games, rides, food and more. The event is being held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is $12.

5. Calvary Community Suicide Prevention Seminar

In partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and To Write Love on Her Arms, the seminar will be facilitated by Pastor Drew Sams and will include a panel of guests and experts who will explore facts about suicide, risk factors and prevention approaches, plus a first-hand survivor account from a mother.
