Agoura Hills Patch launches our day dedicated to moms (and dads) and helps readers prep for Valentine's.

The week began following a win for Green Bay in Super Bowl XL, thanks in part to former Agoura High linebacker Clay Matthews, along with Patch news of AOL's Huffington Post purchase. The beginning of February also found a desperate housewife hit with four felony counts and a stereo thief admittedly on the psilocybin mushroom.

LA County Fire Department CERT will be leading a Disaster Fire Suppression training from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Agoura Hills Civic Center on Tuesday. The free seminar will touch on fire chemistry and basic fire suppression, identify potential fire hazards, and offer firefighting resources and techniques.

, a life coaching resource for men in Agoura Hills, is sponsoring a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, to benefit Children’s Hospital/Los Angeles. Men and women are invited to participate in the drive at 5030 Chesebro Rd. The blood mobile will be situated in the parking in front of the office building.
