Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson is asking a judge for a restraining order against Mel Gibson because, she claims, he has a history of verbal rage that has her scared, according to a post in LA Weekly.
The Weekly reports that according to the L.A. Superior Court request, Hicks Gibson has been kicked out of the house where she has been living at 30130 Mulholland Highway in Agoura Hills, which is owned by her actor stepson. Hicks Gibson had shared the house with Mel Gibson's dad, 93-year-old Hutton Gibson, but Hutton Gibson filed for divorce in June after 11 years of marriage, according to her court request, the Weekly reported.
Hicks Gibson said her removal from the house was part of an effort by her stepson to get her out of the two men's lives and manipulate his father, particularly when it comes to his medical treatment, according to the restraining-order request filed Monday, the Weekly reported.
Hicks Gibson, according to the Weekly, said the actor blew up on multiple occasions, "terrorizing me."
Hicks Gibson goes on to say that Mel Gibson once revealed alleged plans to "get rid of Oksana [Grigorieva]," his ex-girlfriend, the Weekly reported.
The stepmother now lives in Texas but, as part of the filing, wants to be allowed back into the Agoura Hills home with Hutton, according to the report.
And although no physical violence is alleged in the restraining order request, the Weekly reports it says that:
Mel has sunken to new lows over the last year by committing several acts of domestic violence against his 78-year-old stepmother.
