Ricky Has Lots of Spunk

Take home a terrier with personality.

Ricky, a 2-year-old male terrier mix, was transferred to Agoura from an overcrowded shelter, because the volunteers thought he would have a better chance of finding adoption in the Conejo Valley.

He is a friendly little guy that gets along with other dogs, is easy to take on walks, enjoys the company of adults and children and would fit nicely into a house, apartment or condo.

He needs very little, just a warm comfortable bed inside, good nutrition and someone to love him. Because he's a little guy, you can carry him around, but don’t forget he has terrier in his DNA. So that means he has lots of energy.

Since being at the shelter, he has learned to bark for attention while spending hours in his kennel and that puts some people off as they are walking by. However, if you ask to meet him in a play yard, it will become immediately apparent that he is a friendly, funny, loving pup. So make his day and adopt Ricky.

To choose Ricky, request ID A4465738. The Agoura Shelter is at 29525 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills. Occasionally pets have already been adopted. To check availability, call 818-991-0071 or visit the web.

Ricky is such a sweet dog! Once he's out of his kennel and in the yard, he is so engaging. He loves to be picked up and loves to give kisses. He is such a good dog with his kennel mate. He's good on leash and wants to be loved. He'd be a great Companion! He deserves a forever home. Whoever adopts him will be very lucky to have him! Ellen

Ricky is a terrific, energetic little guy who needs a home to call his own. He is little, so he can fit into any home (apartment, house, condo), as long as you love him, have a nice warm inside bed and LOVE him! He will pay you back ten-fold! Come see him at the Agoura Shelter today. You’ll be glad you did!
