Jan. 15: Stock Market Boot Camp; Kids Club

Tour the Reyes Adobe Historical Site. Admission is free, but suggested donations for the tour are: adults, $3; Seniors, $2; children 5-12, $1.

3. Stock Market Boot Camp at the Library

Conducted by Zachary Braverman, financial planner, this program offers attendees an opportunity to learn ways to use the stock market to their own advantage. The program takes place 6:30-7:45 p.m. at the Agoura Hills Library. For questions, call 818-889-2278.

4. Kids Club at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas

The cantina offers a kids-eat-free special: one free child’s meal with every adult entrée ordered or a $5 kid’s special meal with drink may be purchased for 10 and under. Kid’s Club runs from 4:30 – 7:30 pm with gym and special activities from 4-6 p.m., followed by a featured show from 6-6:30 p.m. and a kids disco 7-7.30 p.m.

5. LVUSD Gifted Conference

If you suspect your child is gifted, sign up for Understanding and Educating Gifted Learners conference, January 19 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Yerba Buena Elementary School. Click here for more information.
