The cause of death of Alex Soteras, the former president of the Agoura/Oak Park/ Conejo Valley/Calabasas Chamber of Commerce who was found dead at his home in Calabasas last Saturday, has not yet been determined, according to a report in The Acorn.
Sgt. Mark Bock of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told the newspaper that a caretaker for Soteras’ elderly father found the Calabasas businessman unresponsive in his bed shortly after 2 p.m. on Nov. 24, and there was no evidence of foul play.
The newspaper quotes sources saying that the 51-year-old, who grew up in Malibu, had been in ill health.
Soteras attended Juan Cabrillo Elementary School, Malibu Park Junior High and Pepperdine University.
Rest in Peace Alex! Gwen Lucoff
