High Wind Advisory

Weather service posts two 'red flag' warnings for Agoura area.

The National Weather Service has posted two "red flag" warnings for Agoura Hills that begin Wednesday evening. A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create extreme fire behavior, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

There is a high wind advisory beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, which will continue through 3 p.m. Thursday, the NOAA said.

There is also a fire weather warning that will begin at 9 p.m. Wednesday and end Thursday at 3 p.m.
