Gas Prices Drop Sharply Again

More good news at the pumps.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell 2.4 cents today to $4.057, its lowest amount since Feb. 18.

The average price has decreased for 29 consecutive days and is 12.6 cents less than one week ago and 32.9 cents lower than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, the average
price is 9.9 cents higher than one year ago.

The average price has dropped 35.4 cents over the past 29 days, including 2.3 cents on Wednesday.

The Orange County average price dropped 2.6 cents today to $4.008, its lowest amount since Feb. 17.

The Orange County average price has also decreased for 29 consecutive days and is 13.2 cents less than one week ago and 36.4 cents lower than one month ago but 8.2 cents higher than one year ago.
