Gas Prices Continue to Rise

L.A. County gas prices is at its highest amount since last October.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 19th time in 20 days,increasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.876, its highest amount since Oct. 24.

The average price is 7.1 cents more than one week ago, 14.3 cents higher
than a month ago and 43.5 cents greater than a year ago, according to figures
from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has risen 13.2 cents over the past 20 days, including
1.4 cents on Sunday.

The Orange County average price rose today for the 23th time in 25 days,
increasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.865, its highest amount since Oct. 21.

The Orange County average price is 6.9 cents more than one week ago,
14.1 cents higher than a month ago and 42.6 cents greater than a year ago.

The Orange County average price has increased 14.3 cents over the past
25 days, including 1.2 cents on Sunday.
