Flash Flood Warning Issued for Agoura Hills

Some areas have reported receiving an inch of rain per hour.

A flash flood warning is in effect for Agoura Hills.

The National Weather Service issued the warning at 5:36 p.m. and expected it to last through 7:45 p.m.

Heavy rains have showered the area throughout Sunday, with as much as an inch of rain per hour in Malibu, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts in Agoura Hills have been as high as 45 mph.

Flooding was possible for roads from Agoura Hills to Reseda and from Malibu to Pacific Palisades, the weather service stated.

"Rock slides and mud slides are likely to affect Pacific Coast Highway and Canyon Roads through the Santa Monica Mountains," the warning read.

The National Weather Service predicts the heavy rain to last through 11 a.m. Monday.
