3. Hike to Inspiration Point in Calabasas

Join a ranger on a moderate, 1-mile roundtrip hike for a view of the Las Virgenes Valley at 2 p.m. Bring water, sunscreen and wear appropriate clothing. Meet at fountain at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area's Interagency Visitor Center.

4. Porch Talk at Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center

Share your park experiences while enjoying a warm cup of cocoa on the porch at the Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center (4122 W Potrero Rd., Newbury Park) at 2 p.m. Learn about animals and places to visit in the park. All ages are welcome.
