Exclusive Tasting for 'Reyes Adobe Red' Ale at Night At The Adobe

Ladyface Ale Companie will sample their new imperial ale during Reyes Adobe Days' Night at the Adobe.

In a fundraising effort to support the , Ladyface Ale Companie has released a new imperial ale called Reyes Adobe Red. A portion of the proceeds from all ale sales are benefiting Agoura Hill's first home, an 1845 rancho that has been preserved as a historical landmark and museum for the public. Reyes Adobe Red is also helping to promote Reyes Adobe Days, a weekend fall festival produced by the city of Agoura Hills taking place at the  historical aite.

Introduced in June, Reyes Adobe Red was served at the Ladyface Ale Companie restaurant but sold out within weeks. The last barrel is being exclusively held for Reyes Adobe Days' night reception under the stars, Night at the Adobe, taking place on Friday, October 5. Any remaining ale will be featured in the Reyes Adobe Days' beer garden throughout the weekend.

Since opening its doors in 2009, Ladyface Ale Companie has helped sponsor Reyes Adobe Days. "We see our donation to the Reyes Adobe Historical Site as part of our ongoing commitment to the community," said Ladyface co-Founder Cyrena Nouzille.

Brew master David Griffiths describes Reyes Adobe Red as having earthy aromas, light citrus and deep pine resin character. "Reyes Adobe Red is boldly hopped, adding a clean bitterness, which is balanced by malt character of biscuit and caramel," he said. Ladyface Ale Companie was rated Best Brewpub on RateBeer.com in 2011 and 2012.

In addition to the exclusive beer tasting, Night at the Adobe will offer a sampling 91301 cuisine, including olives and cheeses, local wines and a preview of the Reyes Adobe Days art gallery and a museum store with many gift items and prints for purchase. The event is organized by the City of Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council. October 5, 6-9 p.m. Donation is $20 in advance and $25 at the door and includes tasting. Entrants must be 21.

The Reyes Adobe Historical Site is located at 5464 Reyes Adobe Road. Reyes Adobe Days continues through the weekend with more activities highlighting local culture and history with continued food, wine and beer tasting.
