Hever will discuss and sign her new book The Complete Idiot's Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition at 10 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Thousand Oaks (in the Westlake Promenade). This event is being held in conjunction with the Temple Etz Chaim preschool fundraising bookfair.

CLU’s observance of the Jewish Festival of Lights begins at 4:30 p.m. with the lighting of the candles of the menorah. Admission is free, and the event will take place in the Roth Nelson Room at California Lutheran University. For more information, call Multicultural Programs at 805-493-3489.

4. Dance Classes at Agoura/Calabasas Community Centre

5. Learn How Green Building Methods Can Lower Energy Cost

Clean Technology Council presents Wayne Pendry, consultant and instructor for the California Building Performance Contractors Association.
