In celebration of its 18th year and in conjunction with the launch of a brand new name, the is hosting Family Science Discover Day, a fun-filled, educational, no cost event open to the community from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on campus. This family event will kick off a week of science inspired activities designed to educate, stimulate, and fascinate brains of all ages.

3. 20th Annual Holiday Homes Tour

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will hold its from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The self-guided tour is the organization’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds providing cancer support, education and hope, free of charge, to local cancer patients and their families. 4. Satwiwa Winter Solstice Art Show and Sale

Artists from all over share coiling pottery, painted gourds, flutes, drums, and other artwork. The National Park Service will be hosting the Art Show and Sale at Satwiwa from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as an early celebration of the 2011 Winter Solstice. .

5. Christmas Festival Concerts at Cal Lutheran

Welcome the holiday season with this special musical show at 4 p.m. The program for this longest-running annual event will include delightful lesser known carols as well as familiar favorites performed by the CLU Choirs. Wyant Morton and Daniel Geeting conduct. This is always a very popular concert so arrive early for the best seating and convenient parking.
