3. Hanukkah Festival at Janss Marketplace

Janss Marketplace and Temple Etz Chaim invite the public to attend a Chanukah Family Festival at 6:30 p.m. which will feature an illumination of the giant 18-foot Menorah nine-branched candelabrum. The December 21 event with Temple Etz Chaim celebrates the second night of Hanukkah! Cantor Hazzan Pablo Duek will lead Hebrew School students, and all in attendance, in song. 4. Feed the Homeless

5. Enter Our Deck the House Contest

You can win $100,000 for our local schools! Nominate your home by uploading a photo to the contest entry form on the site (encourage friends to enter too). During that same time period, you and your neighbors will also be able to vote for your favorite festive home. The winning entry will be forwarded to a national Patch judge, who will select 24 finalists. Each finalist will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill.
