Camp Bow Wow Getting Lots of 'Fire Dogs'

Dogs have been coming to the Agoura Hills dog camp from Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park and Malibu.

Camp Bow Wow is currently sheltering dogs for families that have been evacuated from the fire zones.

"I was watching the news [yesterday] as I got ready for work, saw the raging fire with a lot of evacuations, plus that's the community that brings dogs to us anyway, so I thought it was the right thing to do," said Landon Case, camp director.

Case says 15 "fire dogs" were brought in Thursday from Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park and Malibu and 11 still remain.

They will also take other pets if alternative arrangements can't be made, Case said.
