Guerito Has a Big Personality, Needs a Home

Good things often come in small packages.

Guerito's owners turned him into the shelter when they could no longer care for him.

When he arrived, the 7-year-old pooch had a flea allergy that caused him to lose some of his fur, but it has grown back rather nicely. And, no, he doesn’t have fleas any longer. The veterinarian said this has been a particularly bad year for infestations.

Here are some things you should know about him:

  • He gets along with other small dogs.
  • He is good and playful with children.
  • He has a delightful personality.
  • He is good on leash.
  • He loves to curl up on a lap.
  • He is the perfect size for an apartment, condo or house.

So why has Guerito been at the shelter so long? Probably because he is not the most handsome dog around, but what he lacks in good looks he makes up for in affection, gentleness and a friendly, inquisitive nature.

This boy deserves a chance to be adopted, but people walk right by his kennel without giving him a second look. If you have room in your heart and home, please give this little guy a chance. You won’t be sorry.
