Agoura Road Lane Restrictions Ends on Pipeline Project

All lanes have opened up on Agoura Road as the Pipeline Project nears completion.

The lane restrictions on Agoura Road between Kanan and Cornell Roads have ended, as progress continues on the new water pipeline being constructed by Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD).

Traffic can now move freely in both directions and there is access to all local businesses and restaurants from both east and westbound lanes of Agoura Road. The lane restrictions were necessary to install the pipeline in the public right-of-way.

The new pipeline is part of LVMWD’s multi-year “Backbone Improvement Project” that will increase system capacity and reliability, particularly during times of high demand or when the supply from the Metropolitan District of Southern California is interrupted or restricted.
