Agoura Hills Man Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter in Death of Griffen Kramer

David Michael Nernberg, 19, is charged with the felony count in the drug overdose death of the 18-year old Thousand Oaks High School quarterback.

An Agoura Hills man was charged Thursday with involuntary manslaughter in the drug-overdose death of the 18-year-old son of retired NFL quarterback Erik Kramer.

The teenager was found unresponsive in a friend's bedroom in Agoura Hills, authorities said.

A second man, Corey Robert Baumann, 19, of Agoura Hills, is charged with
one count each of possession for sale of methamphetamine, heroin, Ecstasy and
marijuana.   

Both men pleaded not guilty. They are due back at the Airport Branch
Courthouse on March 1, when a date is to be set for a hearing to
determine if there is enough evidence to require them to stand trial, according
to Shiara Davila-Morales of the District Attorney's Office.

Kramer, a quarterback at Thousand Oaks High School,.

His father played in the NFL from 1987 to 1999, ending his career with
the San Diego Chargers.
