Advanced GI Moves Offices, Open House is March 27

Advanced GI has moved to new offices in Thousand Oaks. Headed by gastroenterology board certified specialist Dr. Gilbert Simoni, Advanced GI is the first and one of few medical practices in the United States that provides a minimally invasive treatment for acid reflux and many of its manifestations using a state of the art process known as Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF), among other cutting edge procedures such as Barrett’s ablation. Advanced GI will hold an open house Thursday, March 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The public is invited.

Advanced GI’s new offices are 2,500 square feet (up from less than 1,000 square feet at its previous location) and includes the latest advanced equipment, and a larger operating room and recovery room. Dr. Simoni performs many procedures in the office. The office is also entirely paperless with computer access to patient information in all of its four exam rooms and the operating room.

Dr. Simoni is an expert in digestive disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease and pancreaticobiliary conditions. In addition he performs routine procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and Wireless Capsule Endoscopy.
