Recipe Provocateur: Wood Ranch's Peanut Coleslaw

Patch reveals Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill's classified coleslaw recipe.

Each week,  Patch will reveal the top secret, most sought-after recipes for your favorite dine-out dishes.

Any local will tell you that Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill (aside from Willy's) is Agoura Hills' most popular destination for cookout cuisine.  The chicken, tri-tip and onion strings are delicious, but it's the peanut coleslaw - cool, crisp and tangy – that rounds out a perfect meal.

Ever wonder how to achieve that perfect balance between savory and sweet?  Here's your chance.

I've had their coleslaw and there is one ingredient missing in this recipe but I'm not sure what it is. There is a small seed-like ingredient that is added to the dressing...but this is pretty much a super close match.

Love the cole slaw. Do you have or know where to find the recipe for their tri tip soup?

This recipe is almost exactely like WR. The only thing I did differently was use peanut oil instead of vegtable oil. And the small seed-like ingredient is celery seed. That's it!
