Locals Rummage For Treasure

The community rummage sale brings business to the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center.

Crystal clocks and children's dolls were among the many timeless wares for purchase at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center on Saturday. The community rummage sale took place between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The one-stop shop for locals gave businesses from Agoura Hills, Calabasas and the surrounding San Fernando Valley the opportunity to make a profit from both new and used commodities.

"It's good. A lot of people like  bargains," said Woodland Hills sales representative Mert Cohen from behind his booth. "I couldn't make a living off of this all the time, but it is fun. It kills a Saturday."
