Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel Among Winners of Chamber Recognition Gala Awards

The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce announced winners in a variety of categories at Friday's annual event.

 

The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber presented its annual recognition awards on Friday at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village.

Since 1963, the gala has honored a Man of the Year and Woman of the Year, selected from the chamber’s membership.

Other categories the chamber honored were Business of the Year, Corporate Sponsor of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, as well as the outgoing chamber Chairman of the Board John LaRocca of Sage Bankcard.

Woman of the Year

Eloise Cohen, Photography by Eloise

A Conejo Valley resident since 1963, Cohen has a strong connection with the Alliance for the Arts, the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Board of Governors and California Lutheran University and is also a photographic artist. A member of the Alliance’s Founders Circle, she worked with the American Association of University Women and KCLU FM to bring the first Jazz Concerts to the Civic Arts Plaza.

Lynn Hogan, Co-Founder of the Hogan Family Foundation

Man of the Year

Lee Ladd, Retired Business Owner

As the owner of several local companies over the years including Laddco Financial Services and Leeco Leasing, he has been a quiet and tireless supporter and mentor of countless entrepreneurs and their dreams throughout the community.
