Chamber Launches New Magazine

'Conejo View' will be mailed to members the first week of June.

The following information is a press release from the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The premiere issue of Conejo View magazine will hit chamber member mailboxes the first week of June providing them with a local business magazine exclusively for the greater Conejo Valley.

The magazine will also be available at over 50 locations throughout the area, serving as a business resource for the community at large. This quarterly publication will replace the Conejo Business Times newspaper and annual directory previously produced by the Chamber.

The full color 64-page magazine will include: feature stories, city updates, community events and a Chamber member directory in the back of every issue.

The lead story for the premiere issue focuses on the transformation beginning on Thousand Oaks Boulevard after the passage of the Thousand Oaks Boulevard Specific Plan, while other features cover the vision of the Trifuno YMCA project in Westlake Village, rising costs of worker’ compensation affecting area businesses and Cancer Support Community recognized as the 2013 Nonprofit of the Year.

“This publication is a true reflection of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce’s vision for the organization moving forward, and falls in line with one of our core values of offering innovative and effective programs for members and the community at large”, said Jill Lederer, President/CEO for the Chamber.
