Businessman Out on Bail in KPMG Insider Trading Case Involving Agoura Hills Man

The following information has been released by the United States Attorney's Office.

Encino business man Bryan Shaw, who has agreed to plead guilty to federal conspiracy charges for taking insider information from former KPMB partner Scott London, made his initial court appearance last Friday.

Shaw was freed on a $50,000 bond and is next scheduled to appear before United States District Judge George H. Wu to enter his guilty plea on Monday, May 20.

Shaw is charged with receiving insider information from London and using the tips about such Southland companies as Herbalife and Skechers USA to make illegal stock trades that generated over $1 million in illicit profits.

London, a resident of Agoura Hills, was previously scheduled to be arraigned in his case this coming Friday (May 17), but that hearing has been continued until Thursday, May 30.
