Medea Creek Bike path and walking trail are set to be re paved. The portion from the high school heading south to Sunnycrest will be getting a new asphalt overlay.
The 2nd project is to repair portions of the Medea Creek stream bed which over the years has eroded. The repairs they are planning to the creek hopefully should stop any future erosion to occur.
Both projects are set to be completed within the next few weeks.
If you see something anywhere in Oak Park that is in need of repair, snap a photo of it and send it to Oak Park Update. We will make sure it's forwarded to the proper authorities.
