Ralphie, a Small Dog With Big Personality

This little fellow should do well in any size home.

Ralphie is a 1½-year-old male Chihuahua that was transferred from another shelter because the volunteers there thought he was something special and would have a better chance of being adopted in the Conejo Valley.

Currently, there are fourteen Chihuahuas available in Agoura. All of them are cute and well behaved.

Ralphie is a very gentle fellow. Here are some things you should know about him:

  • He is friendly.
  • He is playful with other dogs he has been housed with.
  • He loves to play with toys, balls and frisbees.
  • He likes to go on walks, does well on leash and enjoys exploring and smelling his surroundings.
  • He is energetic and alert.
  • He is happiest when people pay attention to him.

With his petite size, he would fit well in an apartment, condo or house. If you are ready for a small guy with a great disposition, ask to meet him now.

To choose Ralphie, request ID A4409407. The Agoura Shelter is at 29525 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills. Occasionally pets have already been adopted. To check availability, call 818-991-0071 or visit the web.

Ralphie has been adopted. However, there are many Chihuahuas and other small dogs available at the Agoura shelter. Come meet Sweetie who was previously featured in the Patch. She was adopted by a very young adult that lived with her parents. When Sweetie arrived at her new home the mother said no and unfortunately Sweetie had to be returned to her kennel the very next day. Her personality matches her name perfectly. She will be an excellent pet for some lucky family. http://agourahills.patch.com/articles/add-a-little-sweetness-to-your-home

Sweetie the Chihuahua has been adopted by a family with a small child. Everyone at the shelter is jubilant.
