Katherine Jackson Safe With Family

The Jackson family matriarch was recently reported missing by her nephew when her grandchildren were unable to get in touch with her.

The nephew of Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson's mother, filed a missing persons report Saturday at the because her three grandchildren hadn’t been able to get in touch with her for almost a week, reports CBS2.

Paris Jackson, Michael’s 14-year-old daughter, posted on Twitter Sunday that her grandmother was missing, said the report.

She said, “yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now,” according to the news site.

But hours later, The Insider’s Kevin Frazier tweeted: “#Paris Jackson danced the night away at her Uncle’s concert in LA. Family sources I talked w said Mrs Jackson was just fine and never missing,” said the report

According to the story, Jackson's attorney, Sandy Ribera, told CBS2 in an email over the weekend that the elder Jackson was supposed to go to New Mexico last weekend in an RV to watch her sons perform on their Unity Tour. However, a man who claimed to be sent by her doctor came to her Calabasas home and convinced her to fly, said CBS2.

Ribera claims Katherine’s longtime physician didn’t send the man, and the doctor Katherine did see has ties to Conrad Murray, the man convicted in connection to the death of Michael Jackson, said the report.

Paris reaffirmed that via Twitter early Sunday, saying: She said, “the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother… just saying,” said the report

“Concerned family members, particularly Michael’s children, have made ongoing pleas to those believed to have knowledge of her location for information regarding her whereabouts," Ribera told CBS2. "The only reports provided have been both conflicting and confusing.”

However, Jermaine Jackson tweeted that his mother is doing okay, saying: “I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us,” said the report.

Sheriff’s officials in Los Angeles also believe Katherine is safe and with family in Arizona, but have yet to speak with her, said CBS2.

Thanks for your great perspective on this issue. We should all unplug once in awhile.

I think for the most part, people are mentally drained. Few take the time to sit back relaxRead More anymore. Even when we do have a minute to ourselves, we're constantly bombarded with emails, text messages and status updates. If we unplugged ourselves from our devices, we might find the serenity we all so desperately need. Turn your phone off, take a hike. Find a big tree next to a creek and sit under the shade. Enjoy nature. Listen to the sound of the water, the birds and the breeze as it moves through the brush. When you get back to nature, if only for a short time, you'll leave with a clear mind and feel revitalized. You're right---technology was supposed to make our lives more simple. Instead, it fuels the attention deficit disorder as our brain becomes a hashtag with a constant barrage of (often useless) news and updates. Although I'm young, I'd give anything to go back to the days where calling someone often led to a wild goose chase of finding an available payphone and spare change to make the call.

If you can't talk politics with friends without being able to agree to disagree or even end upRead More losing them as friends then they were not the "friends" you thought they were anyway.

It's not about moving forward, it's about saving your breath! That's the whole problem; too muchRead More talk and not enough action! You gonna eat that fish or just hold it up in the air?

then again, if you only speak with people who agree with you, how do you ever move forward? aren'tRead More you just "spinning your wheels" staying in the same spot never moving forward?
