Bicyclist Airlifted After Accident on Agoura Road
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics respond after woman sustains head injury after single bicycle accident Saturday.
A woman was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center Saturday morning after sustaining injuries from going over her bike handlebars near Forest Cove Park in Agoura Hills.
Firefighter/paramedic Mike Amador of Station 89 said authorities responded at approximately 11:13 a.m. to a bicycle accident reported on Agoura Road. An air squad was called in, Amador said.
The woman, who Amador estimated was approximately 50 years old, crashed on her own with her street bike. She went over handlebars and sustained a head injury. When she was airlifted by paramedics, Amador said she was in stable condition.
Amador added the woman was wearing her helmet.
