'Surf's Up' in Agoura Hills

The Recreation Center kicks off its summer Movies in the Park series.

As the sun set over Reyes Adobe Park on Saturday, families sprawled out on picnic blankets and lawn chairs to watch "Surf's Up" under the stars.

About 150 people turned out for the free flick, which kicked off the Movies in the Park series that is in its third year in Agoura Hills.

"We are really excited," said Donna Conlin, recreation manager. "It gives us the opportunity to see new faces--a younger crowd."
