Movies in the Park is Off The 'Hook'

The summer series concludes with an enchanting adventure.

Couples snuggled up on picnic blankets and families huddled around packed dinners as the sun set over Reyes Adobe Park on Saturday night. 

Hundreds of residents turned out for the free flick, "Hook," which concluded the city's Department of Community Services' Movies in the Park series.

"They've got their kids and their picnic dinners," said recreation leader Alyssa Burns."We are just here to have a really good time."

In addition to the movie, the family friendly event also offered children's crafts and interactive games with Camp Agoura Hills staff, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Reyes Adobe Historical Site grounds were also open to the public.  

"The kids love it. They've got their sleeping bags," said Stephanie Simon, a local resident. "This is what it should be like every Saturday night."
