Middle Schoolers Are 'Footloose' and Fancy Free

Lindero Students perform 80s musical 'Footloose'.

Wednesday, March 16, through Friday, March 18, presents its annual student musical production–this year it's Footloose–in the Scheer Forum Theater at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.  Based on the movie, musical numbers include favorites such as “Let's Hear it For the Boy”, “I Need A Hero”, “Almost Paradise” and, of course, “Footloose”.

Directed by L.J. Stevens, the production features alternating lead cast members. All roles are performed by middle-school students with the assistance of a number of dedicated parent volunteers.  These performances represent the continuation of a long-standing tradition at Lindero Canyon Middle school of putting on a yearly musical.  Tickets are available at the door for $15.00.  Come down and support the stars of tomorrow!
