Enter the 2013 Westlake Village Art Guild Student Awards Juried Art Show

Deadline for submissions to the show, hosted by the Agoura Hills' Cultural Arts Council, is February 28.

The deadline for artist submissions to the Westlake Village Art Guild is Thursday, Feb. 28.

Sponsored by the WVAG, hosted by the City of Agoura Hills’ Cultural Arts Council and supported by the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, the 2013 Student Awards Juried Show is open to all high school juniors and seniors residing in or enrolled in a Greater Conejo Valley high school.

The purpose of the Show is to encourage and recognize, in a meaningful way, the dedicated teachers and talented students that enrich all communities in the region.

Show categories include: 1) two dimensional fine art, 2) photography and digitally created work, and 3) sculpture, ceramics, glass and 3-D.

As “juried” show, only the strongest entries, as determined by the jury, will be invited to hang on April 10, 2013 and compete for ribbons and over $1,000 in cash awards.

The Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on April 12 from 4-7 p.m. at the historic Reyes Adobe.
