Actor Cast to Portray Louis Zamperini in 'Unbroken' Film
British actor Jack O'Connell, 22, will portray the World War II hero in the film version of the best-selling novel.
Jack O'Connell, a 22-year-old British actor, will portray World War II hero Louis Zamperini in the film version of the best-selling novel Unbroken, according to the Daily Breeze.
The film, directed by Angelina Jolie, is slated for release on Christmas Day 2014, the report said.

Unbroken was Agoura's "One City, One Book" selection for 2013. Zamperini spoke at two sold-out programs in May at the Regency Agoura 8 Theatre.
