May 21: Laura Ingalls and Safety Day

2. Meet Laura Ingalls Wilder at the Library

As part of the One City, One Book program, the is presenting A Day With Laura Ingalls Wilder at 2 p.m. A Wilder impersonator will read the stories of the famous children's author. Refreshments will follow.

3. Public Safety Day

Have fun while learning how to stay safe at this annual event held at from 10 am. to 2 p.m. Exhibits include a K-9 demonstration, helicopter fly-over and the Shakey Quakey House.

4. Liberty Canyon Garage Sale

Three homes, beginning at 4039 Joelton Dr., will host a garage sale, featuring surf boards, baby furniture, etc., from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

5. Boogie Knights at the Canyon Club

The 10 p.m. show will feature a wacky live disco era band—bellbottoms and all! For ages 21+ only. Tickets are $19.50.
