3. Teacher Appreciation Week

Today marks the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week. Show you kids' teachers how much you appreciate their hard work and dedication with such trifles as flowers from your garden, handmade cards, and home-made treats.

4. Open Badminton

's badminton program is open to the public. Bring your own equipment and sign in at the front desk upon arrival.  Price ranges from $1-$5. Contact the center for the schedule.

5. US 101 Reyes Adobe Road Interchange Construction Schedule

The Reyes Adobe Bridge is getting closer to completion. Various crews will be working night and day to ensure the construction is completed by the end of May, according to Public Works Project Manager Kelly Fisher. A slight reconfiguration of the traffic lanes for northbound traffic is expected to be in place by Friday. This will allow the contractor to install a median south of the bridge. Drivers are reminded to use caution when entering the construction zone.
