Five Things: Teen Volunteer Day

Five things residents of Agoura Hills need to know today.

Here are five things residents of Agoura Hills need to know today. If you have an event you'd like us to consider for Five Things, be sure to add it to the events calendar.

1.  A meeting of the Agoura Hills Planning Commission originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, has been canceled. The next meeting will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17.

2. The Agoura Hills Public Library will host “Teen Volunteer Day” from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The event is designed for kids ages 12 to 17. All volunteers must turn in a completed application signed by their parents. The volunteer applications may be picked up at the Agoura Hills Library, located at 29901 Ladyface Court, or they can be downloaded here.
