Agoura Hills Taking Appointments for Hazardous Waste Collection

The free residential program offers three pickups a year. The next collections will be announced in April.

Agoura Hills residents have until Dec. 13 to make appointments for collection of hazardous household waste and electronics through a free residential program, according to the city's website.

Operated through Waste Management since 2008, the program offers three collections a year: in April, August and December. Appointments made now are for home pickups during the third and fourth weeks of the month.

The city website offers a complete list of items eligible for collection.

Collections are for Agoura Hills residents only. Properties in unincorporated Agoura may not participate.

Agoura businesses can schedule electronic waste pickup through PC Recycles by calling (805) 499-0050 or emailing moreinfo@pcrecycle.us.

To make an appointment, call Waste Management's At Your Door Special Collections at (800) 449-7587, visit the program website or email atyourdoor@WM.com.
