Noel Irwin Hentschel Is Keynote Speaker at Southeast Ventura County YMCA's May 1 National Day of Prayer Breakfast

Noel Irwin Hentschel, CEO of AmericanTours International (ATI) and founder of The Noel Foundation, is the keynote speaker for the Southeast Ventura County YMCA's 15th Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, May 1. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 a.m. with the program from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Gilbert Sports Center at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. The theme for the morning is "One Voice United in Prayer."

 

ATI is one of the nation's largest tour operator for foreigners visiting the United States. Hentschel served as advisor to seven Secretaries of Commerce, both Republican and Democrat. She is currently serving as Deputy Secretary General of the World Tourism Cities Federation headquartered in Beijing.

Inspired by Mother Teresa, Hentschel established The Noel Foundation in 1988 to help those most in need around the world. Hentschel is a Franciscan-Mariologist, well versed on the Blessed Virgin Mother, Christology, Moral Theology, Spiritual Warfare and Comparative World Religions of Christianity Judaism, Islam, Buddhism and Daoism  She is a pioneer opening doors with governments, businesses and ministries in China, Cuba, Vietnam, Jordan and Israel.

"I am looking forward to sharing my recent amazing experiences in China and all the holy hidden treasures I discovered there from Inner Mongolia to Shanghai," says Hentschel. “Prayer leads to grace; grace inspires light; light offers clarity; clarity brings truth and humility and truth and humility affirms ‘Trust in God for love, peace and eternal life.”

Spiritual and community leaders from Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Simi Valley and Moorpark will participate in the event. Providing invocators will be Denis Weber, councilmember, City of Agoura Hills, Rabbi Lisa Bock, Bishop Arch Williams, Church of Jesus Christ-LDS Thousand Oaks Stake and Nate Lorenzini, director, Conejo Valley Young Life. 

 

"The breakfast is truly a unique gathering. It welcomes people of all faiths and we spend the morning together as one," says Rick Politte, president and CEO of the Southeast Ventura County YMCA. "It’s an uplifting experience that many carry with them for the rest of the year.”

           

Mary Olson, general manager at KCLU-FM, will be the master of ceremonies and Lynn Rd., a contemporary Christian group from St. Paschal Baylon Church in Thousand Oaks, will provide musical entertainment.
