Hi! Today, while taking our dog for a walk in the community, Alan and I decided to check out the the Electric Car Drive event at Oak Park High. After we drove an EV, a Leaf and a Volt we unanimously decided that the Leaf got the gold. The Leaf is simply more affordable, something that came as music to both our ears. Since most of our commutes are done locally, this move will contribute to new “Greener” lifestyle, while also keeping some more green in our pockets.
There were many other GREEN things to do. I was especially moved by a few activists who shared similar views and ideas to those I mentioned in the blog entitled: "Green Living and Ecology are Not New to Judaism"
1-The "Ecogirls" project: What is Sustainability? emphasizes how "Green" practices are producing "Green" results. Here is what the two 14 years old girls have to say about sustainability: http://youtu.be/D_tgvpcrmgQ
2-TESLA owner, Dr. Ian Taras impressed me when he made the perfect connection with “TuBeshvat” and stated that "Green" living is not new to Judaism... . http://youtu.be/BOdW-tmo1jA
3-The most creative ideas came in this package of 6 teenagers. Just Imagine what a perfect world would be living in with a little bit more of this... http://youtu.be/a3IEWQAbotI

If you want more info on the "EcoGirls" project, you can go to www.ecogirls.org. Also, I'm thirteen, not fourteen :)
