Tifa Creates Delicious Gelato

A behind the scenes look on making homemade gelato at Tifa.

With temperatures starting to climb a little and spring in the air, what sounds better than a cup of homemade gelato? Nothing. So for this week's Craving, I headed back to to learn how makes her speciality gelatos.

She has crafty flavor creations like pear and gorganzola (beyond delicious), Bavarian mint, and peanut-butter chocolate chip. On average Orr makes 12 to 14 trays of different gelatos per day.

The best part? Gelato is lower in fat than ice cream, perfect with swimsuit season looming. Take a look at this week's video to see the making of panicotta-cinnamon gelato, a original Candace Orr creation.
