Chargers Knocked Out of Playoffs

Despite valiant efforts and great performances, lady Chargers lose as the spring sports preseason begins. Plus, big news in boy's wrestling.

Here is a recap of Agoura High School sports for this past week and what to look out for this weekend.

  • The lady Chargers suffered a tough loss to Sonora High School at home Wednesday night in the quarterfinals of CIF playoff. Head Coach Steve Scifres told the Ventura County Star in an interview, "It wasn't our night and anytime we had a run, Sonora answered." Agoura, a younger team, was without a couple of key players, including leading scorer Kyli Cunningham. The Chargers end their tremendous season with an overall record of 21-8.  This is the third year in a row they have made it to the quaterfinals.
