On the eve of Carmageddon, a packed house at the became "Rundgren Heaven" when Todd Rundgren performed a wide variety of his most popular songs. The thing about Rundgren fans is that they are completely dedicated to this multi-talented musician/ songwriter/producer/technological innovator.
The audience welcomed him with ears wide open, as Rundgren treated them to hit after hit from his diverse catalog of songs with a brief nods to the blues and a healthy dose of soul.
Opening the show with "Real Man," Rundgren strode maniacally across the stage back and forth reaching out to a grateful audience and ensuring that everyone in this intimate venue knew that their dear friend was back.

Rundgren paced himself well throughout the show, singing a fair number of songs seated on a stool center stage. However, it would have been nice to see him play guitar more.
If you are a Todd Rundgren fan, you would not have been disappointed; if you're not a fan, this was an excellent opportunity to be converted. Seriously, I knew I must of been in heaven... because everyone I spoke to kept saying "Todd is God."
